This beautiful circular room is suitable for large conferences, lectures, poster sessions, dinners, galas and much more. With retractable walls that can disappear into the ceiling, the H.F. DeLuca Forum is intended as a multi-use central space that draws people in to participate. The Forum is named for UW–Madison biochemistry professor Hector DeLuca, the world’s foremost vitamin D researcher. His discoveries have helped explain the roles of vitamins A and D and have led to treatments for devastating disorders like bone disease and kidney failure. His technologies have generated hundreds of millions of dollars of support for research at UW-Madison.

Including a podium with microphone, integrated audio speakers, an LCD projector and 16’x9′ screen, and wall mounted camera perfect for hybrid events

Unique space that works for a variety of events including lectures, banquets or receptions.

Allows for the space to be used in conjunction with atrium space for larger events

Capacity

Accommodates up to 300 people in lecture seating (chairs only). Classroom and conference setups available. Work with your event coordinator to determine capacity based on your specific event needs.

Plan your event at The Discovery Building

With 40,000 square feet available, the main floor of the Discovery Building can accommodate up to 1,200 people. The first floor of the building is a central space where campus, community and industry gather to celebrate idea sharing through conferences, poster sessions, banquets, receptions, lectures & more. The Discovery Building is also home to twin research institutes, the private Morgridge Institute for Research and the public Wisconsin Institute for Discovery (WID). Their private-public collaboration helps facilitate breakthrough discoveries to advance health and well-being.
